Adaptive sound that fits the room you are standing in.
One tap for the room you are in
Conversation, TV, outdoors, phone — one button switches the listening mode to match where you are standing.
16 channels, rebalancing live
An American ONSEMI chip splits incoming sound into 16 bands and re-weights them in real time as you move from a quiet room to a busy street.
Voices in front, noise behind
Adaptive directional microphones, noise reduction of up to 15 dB and anti-feedback processing — so nobody hears the whistle.
Bluetooth calls in both ears
Pair them to your phone and take calls or audio straight into the aids. They hold more than one paired device at a time.
An app if you want it, buttons if you don't
Fine-tune the frequency bands from the companion app, or ignore it completely — volume and mode are physical buttons on the device.
Rated 60 hours, charged in the case
A light behind-the-ear shell you stop noticing, and a charging case that tops them back up overnight. Heavy Bluetooth streaming shortens that figure.
You Shouldn't Have to Choose Between...
Original Medicare Doesn't Cover It
“I pay premiums every month — and hearing aids still aren't covered?”
Original Medicare does not cover hearing aids or the exam to fit them. Some Medicare Advantage plans do, so check yours — but plenty of people still find a large gap left on a $4,000 pair.
$4,000+ Hearing Clinics
“Why do they cost as much as a used car?”
Device, exam, fitting and follow-up visits — the bill stacks up long before you actually hear better.
Cheap Sound Amplifiers
“Mine whistled every time somebody spoke.”
A generic amplifier turns everything up at once. It is not tuned to speech, it has no feedback control, and there is nobody to call.
Premium OTC At $1,000+
“Better than a clinic, still more than I wanted to spend.”
The big-name over-the-counter brands are genuinely good. They are also usually four figures once you are done, which puts them back out of reach for a lot of households.
Every option was either too expensive or too crude — so we built the one in between.
Is this the right fit?
Five questions. Answer them for whoever is actually going to wear these — you, or the person you are buying for.
- Do you ask people to repeat themselves more than you used to?
- In a restaurant or a group, do you lose the thread even though you can hear that people are talking?
- Has anyone commented on how loud the TV is?
- Are higher voices — women, grandchildren — harder to follow than lower ones?
- Is it both ears, rather than only one?
Mostly yes? That is the range EarWell is built for, and you have 30 days at home to find out for certain.
Mostly no — or you answered yes to only one ear? Then these are probably not the right product. EarWell is for perceived mild to moderate hearing difficulty in both ears, in adults 18 and over. Sudden hearing loss, loss in one ear only, ear pain, drainage or dizziness all need a licensed professional first, not a hearing aid.
Why $499 Instead of $2,500–$5,000?
We cut out the clinic overhead and pass the difference straight to you.

INTRODUCTORY PRICE - 28% OFF
TODAY: $499
Rechargeable behind-the-ear hearing aids with 16-channel processing, four modes and Bluetooth — without the exam, fitting and follow-up appointments attached to them. We are not claiming this is the same device a clinic sells you; we are saying you can hear a lot better for a lot less.
Built for everyday hearing, priced for everyday people.
Buying these for a parent?
Most of our orders are placed by someone who is not going to wear them. Here is what you actually need to know before you order for somebody else.
You can set them up before you hand them over
Charge the case, fit the dome, pair the app if you want it. Then all they have to do is put them in. A printed step-by-step guide comes in the box for the parts they will do themselves.
The 30 days start on delivery, not on the day they try them
That matters, because people put off wearing them. Order early enough that the trial window is still open once they have actually given them a real week.
Nobody has to admit anything to a clinic
A lot of the resistance is not about money — it is about not wanting to be the person who now wears hearing aids. Arriving in a box at home, set up by you, skips that conversation entirely.
Plan for 7–15 business days
These ship from our overseas warehouse, so this is not a two-day order. If it is meant for a birthday or a visit home, count backwards from the date.

Frequently asked questions
How can they be this affordable?
A clinic pair typically runs $2,000–$4,000, and very little of that is the hardware. You are paying for clinic rent, staff time, sales commission and a hearing-chain markup.
We sell direct instead. No clinic, no showroom, no salesperson. What you get is a pair of rechargeable behind-the-ear hearing aids, a charging case, a 30-day home trial and a 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults — for $499.
How do you compare to Jabra, Sony, Lexie and the other OTC brands?
Honestly: those are good products and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Most of them land somewhere around four figures once you are done, and several are backed by companies that have been making hearing technology for decades.
EarWell sits below them. You get 16-channel processing, four listening modes, adaptive directional mics, Bluetooth and app adjustment for $499 — but not a decades-old brand, not a retail store to walk into, and not a US warehouse two days away.
At the other end there are $99 amplifiers. Those are a genuinely different category: single-channel, no feedback control, not tuned to speech. If your budget stretches to a premium OTC brand and you want the safest choice, buy one. If it does not, we built this for you.
Will this work for my type of hearing loss?
EarWell Comfort RIC is made for adults 18 and over with perceived mild to moderate hearing difficulty — the kind that comes with age or years of noise exposure.
If you often ask people to repeat themselves, lose track in restaurants, or keep turning the TV up, this is the range it is built for. It is not intended for severe or profound hearing loss, or for hearing loss in one ear only. In those cases please see a licensed hearing professional first.
Do they connect to my phone? Is there an app?
Yes to both. They pair over Bluetooth for calls and audio, into both ears, and will hold more than one paired device at a time.
There is also a companion app that lets you adjust the frequency bands and volume from your phone. It is optional — everything essential is on physical buttons on the device, so the app is there if you are the kind of person who wants sliders, and ignorable if you are not.
What if it doesn't work for me?
You have 30 days from delivery to wear them in your real life — at dinner, on the phone, in the car.
If they are not right, email us and we will send return instructions. The device price is refunded in full; return shipping is on you unless the device arrived faulty. See our Refund Policy for the condition the devices need to come back in.
I'm buying these for my mom or dad. What should I know?
You can do the whole setup before you hand them over — charge the case, fit the ear dome, pair the app. After that it is take them out of the case and put them in.
Two practical things. The 30-day trial starts when the package is delivered, not when they finally get around to trying them, so order with that in mind. And delivery is typically 7–15 business days, because these ship from our overseas warehouse — this is not a two-day order.
Can I talk to someone if I need help?
Yes — email us and a real person answers, usually within 24 hours on weekdays. Send your order number and a short description of the problem and we can normally resolve it in one reply.
Do these help with tinnitus or with high-pitched voices?
The devices are tuned toward speech frequencies, which is where softer and higher-pitched voices live, and the noise-reduction mode helps in busy rooms.
No hearing aid cures tinnitus, and we will not tell you otherwise. Some people do find it less noticeable once they can hear the room again. If tinnitus is your main problem, talk to a clinician.
Will they fit my ears properly?
Every order includes soft ear domes in several sizes, so you can pick the one that seals comfortably. The unit itself sits behind the ear with a thin tube running into the canal, which is what makes it stay put all day.
If nothing feels right, email us before the trial window closes.
Are they really discreet?
The shell tucks behind the ear and the tube is clear and thin. From the front, in normal conversation, most people will not notice them. They are discreet — we are not going to claim they are invisible.
How is this different from going to a clinic?
A clinic gives you a professional audiogram and a fitting by a licensed audiologist, and charges thousands for the package. If you want that, it is worth having.
What we sell is the other route: the device itself, set up by you at home, with no appointments and no insurance paperwork. Plenty of people already know roughly what they need and just want the hardware at a fair price.
Do I need a hearing test or a prescription?
No prescription is needed to order. If you have never had your hearing checked, a free or low-cost audiogram is still a good idea — it tells you whether your loss really is in the mild-to-moderate range these are built for.
How long does the battery last?
The devices are rated at up to 60 hours of use per charge, and the case recharges them so they are ready the next morning. Heavy Bluetooth streaming will shorten that, as it does on any rechargeable device — treat 60 hours as the rated figure, not a promise for every day of use.
How fast is delivery, and where does it ship from?
Shipping is free on every order. Orders leave our overseas warehouse within 1–2 business days and typically arrive in 7–15 business days. You get tracking by email as soon as the package ships.
We would rather tell you that up front than have you expecting it in two days.
